A blonde woman recently treated herself to a brand-new Mercedes. Everything was perfect—during the daytime, the car ran like a dream. But once the sun went down, it was a different story. No matter what she did, the car just wouldn’t budge.

After struggling with it for a week of failed night drives, she finally gave up and called the dealership. She explained the issue, and they sent a mechanic over to take a look.

The mechanic inspected everything top to bottom. The engine, the battery, the wiring—everything looked fine. Stumped, he turned to the owner and asked, “Just to check, are you using the correct gear when you drive?”

Offended, she huffed, “Of course I am! I may be blonde, but I’m not dumb. I always put it in ‘D’ for day and ‘N’ for night!”
