A man died one day and, to his surprise, woke up at the gates of Heaven. Standing before him was an angel who welcomed him with a smile.

“Come with me,” the angel said kindly. “I’ll take you on a little tour and show you where you’ll be staying.”

The man followed as they walked along streets paved with gold, past gardens brighter than anything he had ever seen on Earth. But what really caught his attention was a massive golden wall stretching as far as the eye could see. On it hung millions upon millions of clocks, all different sizes and shapes, ticking softly in unison.

Unable to hold back his curiosity, the man asked, “What are all these clocks for? Surely no one needs this many in Heaven?”

The angel laughed gently. “These aren’t ordinary clocks. They belong to every single person who has ever lived. Each time a person tells a lie, their clock ticks forward by one minute. It’s how we keep track of honesty.”

The angel pointed proudly to one clock. “Look here—this is Abraham Lincoln’s. Notice it only moved twice. Quite impressive, don’t you think?”

The man’s eyes widened. “Incredible. And what about this one?”

“That belongs to Moses,” the angel explained. “As you can see, it has never moved even once.”

The man was fascinated and continued to scan the wall. After a while, he noticed something odd. “Wait,” he said, “I don’t see Donald Trump’s clock anywhere. With all these here, where’s his?”

The angel paused for a moment, then gave a calm, almost amused reply:
“Oh, his clock isn’t on this wall. God keeps it in His office… He needed a ceiling fan.”
