Joke: A doctor at a mental hospital thought it’d be fun to take his patients out to a baseball game

A doctor at a mental hospital thought it’d be fun to take his patients out to a baseball game. For weeks before the outing, he trained them to follow simple commands to make sure everything went smoothly.

When the big day arrived, things were going perfectly.

As the national anthem began, the doctor shouted, “Up, Nuts!” and the patients all stood proudly.

When it ended, he called, “Down, Nuts!” and everyone sat back down like clockwork.

Later, when the home team hit a home run, the doctor cheered, “Cheer, Nuts!” and the whole group clapped and shouted with excitement.

When the umpire made a terrible call, the doctor yelled, “Boo, Nuts!” and the patients booed in perfect unison.

Feeling confident, the doctor left his assistant in charge and went to grab a hot dog and a beer. But when he returned, the stadium section was in total chaos — people running, shouting, and security rushing in.

Frantically, the doctor found his assistant and asked, “What on earth happened?!”

The assistant sighed and said, “Everything was going fine… until a vendor walked by yelling, ‘PEANUTS!’”
