In a lively sixth-grade science class, Ms. Carter stood at the front of the room and posed a curious question to her students.

“Can anyone tell me which part of the human body can expand up to ten times its normal size when it’s stimulated?”

The room went silent. Students glanced nervously at one another, unsure of how to respond.

Suddenly, little Emily shot up from her seat, her face red with outrage. “Ms. Carter!” she exclaimed. “That question is totally inappropriate for our age group! I’m going to tell my parents, and they’ll report this to the school board! You’re gonna be in so much trouble!”

With a dramatic huff, she plopped back into her seat, arms crossed.
